Once upon a time there was a girl that lived in Belgium. She loved to sew and had made many wonderful things before. But oh, she didn't dare sewing with stretch fabrics. Oh dear no, that would be way out of line. What if she broke a needle? Or what if she would ruin the fabric? It was unthinkable. One day, however, a little helper came along. The helper convinced her to give it a try and so she did.

She measured and measured, drew out a pattern, cut out the fabric and sewed, all night long. It seemed as if her life was depending on it. Finally, the fall flower dress was finished. She put it on and immediately felt like a princess. A fall princess, you could say. She thanked her little helper and wandered off into the distance. She had never been happier.






And the dress and the girl lived happily ever after.

I was hopelessly behind last week and took a lot of photos, but not at all in the theme of that day. Maybe this challenge just isn't for me. But no sad face at this side of the screen, because I'm glad I tried and I WILL FINISH it!

Hi y'all! (I've always wanted to say this line.) Long time no see, huh?

Sorry for not blogging for a whole week (!), but life has been so hectic lately.. I promise next week will be better! I have a few fun posts planned in for you :) (because I'll be going to Berlin for the weekend to visit my dear friend Elise).
