In the weeks to follow, I'll give you a little peek in the collections I have. This one I only discovered recently, I didn't even know I had that many!

Over these past few months, I've gathered a considerate amount of notebooks. Lots of full notebooks have gone and made room for new, more colorful and handmade ones. Come take a look at my notebook stash!

And the newest addition to the family is a cat notebook! It was a gift from Joanne.

On November 1st I finished my Project 365. That means I made a picture every day for one year. And whew, I have to say, I'm quite pleased I succeeded. Although I sometimes forgot to take a picture, it's awesome that I can look back at my whole year in photos. Maybe I'll do a Project 365 again in the future, but for now, not yet. Waw, it's been such a long time since you've got another peek in the life of Pixel & Cera! They've been real badasses lately, but oh so huggable and sweet as well - at times.

I will let these pictures speak for themselves (I do apologize for the bad quality, but don't let that kill the über cuteness please!), so enjoy :)

Een paar weken geleden werd ik uitgenodigd door de oprichters van Handmade With Love om in Brussel kennis te komen maken met hun project. Samen met Lieve, onwetend maar vol verwachting, trok ik naar Brussel voor een namiddagje plezier bij Les Midinettes. We ontmoetten er enkele fellow bloggers, aten er lekkere taartjes (ik kon me niet inhouden en heb alles geproefd!) en kregen een workshop van de twee Midinettejes om een snood te maken, - oftewel cirkelsjaal. Oh, en we kregen nadien nog een goed gevulde goodiebag mee naar huis. Altijd leuk!

Uiteraard kregen we ook een woordje uitleg over Handmade With Love. Aangezien het in dit filmpje al ontzettend goed wordt uitgelegd, ga ik zelfs geen poging wagen.


Het platform werd opgericht om creativiteit en hulpbehoevende organisaties van bij ons te combineren. Een mooi initiatief, vind ik zelf. Je kan je hier aanmelden als Helping Hand, of zelf een project indienen dat nog creatieve steun kan gebruiken. Aangezien het project nog maar net is opgestart, raad ik je aan om er snel bij te zijn! Volgens mij gaat dit boomen gelijk zot!

Als blogger bij Handmade With Love beloof ik jullie bij deze plechtig mijn publiek op de hoogte te houden van interessante nieuwe projecten en zelf mijn steentje bij te dragen. Voilà!

// A couple of weeks ago I was invited by Handmade With Love to attend an event in Brussels. It was a lovely afternoon where I got to meet some new people, enjoyed delicious pies and made my own snood. But more importantly, I got to know the project a little better. I've been neglecting you like crazy lately - once again - but I'm here to make it up to you! I haven't been sitting around doing nothing and I have tons of inspiration for future posts, so stay tuned.

» Project 365 is finished! On November 1st, I took my 365th picture in a row. Still haven't found the time to update you, unfortunately.

» In October, I participated in the DRAW-ing challenge by Plutomeisje and FenneK, but I didn't finish it. I'm slowly getting along at my own pace.


» I am the proud owner of a smartphone, and totally went along with the social media craze. You can find me on Twitter & Instagram now.


» I celebrated Halloween and dressed up as a Mexican sugar skull. Did I scare you?

» Starting November 17th, Boomieboomie hosts another edition of Recykleren. And I'm participating, of course! It's been way too long since some fun projects got featured on the blog so I'm hoping to get a few DIY's/tutorials online!


» I launched my photography blog. If you want, visit it, and let me know if you have any feedback. Oh, and if you're looking for a photographer for an event, wedding, shoot, ... Don't hesitate in sending me an e-mail. I would love to expand my portfolio, you would like some pretty pictures so it's a win-win situation!


» I found this extremely cute pepper & salt bird set at my local thrift shop. I was so excited I couldn't leave this behind.

I sent my letter in a handmade see-through envelope, and wrote my letter in a handmade booklet.




to Leah:
Leah won the giveaway I hosted on my blog a couple of weeks ago. So I sent her the tapes, some handmade bird stickers, a booklet, stationary and a pretty postcard.




to Emmel:
I swapped with Ellen because I adored the buttons she made. She asked me for old/new/used erasers so I sent her some that I thought she would like :)



to Mariska:
Mariska couldn't find the blank notebooks from Action, so I bought her a pack and sent them to her. She sent me the cutest owl pen ever - but more on that later on in this post.

Mail from Marlou is always fun! Will you just take a look at her gorgeous handwriting? She included an article about handmade clothing - it was very interesting - and some cute stickers.



from Karlijn:
Karlijn made these postcards herself. I loved them so much that I wanted one to put on my wall (check!). In exchange for a snailmail package she agreed. I didn't send out my letter, though. But it will happen asap, Karlijn!

These are the buttons I told you about! Aren't they awesome? The crocheted garland hangs on my wall at the moment :)
