I'm not that satisfied with how some of my pictures turned out. Even though I made the list myself, I still find it pretty darn difficult to come up with different subjects, angles, ... Any tips or suggestions? Feel free to help me out and leave a comment :)
Oh and let me know what your favorite photo this week is!

Have a great week, talk to you soon!
Hi guys!
I hope this post will inflict a lot of oh's and ah's in the comment section, because they deserve it. They are SO cute! My apologies for the picture overload - I'm not really sorry, though.

In case you didn't know yet: my bf rents an apartment and I'm moving in in July! We wanted to make it a little more homy and both love cats so adopted two cutiepies from the animal shelter. They are now approximately 11 weeks old and brother & sister. Simply little balls of fur we fell in love with the minute we saw them.
So without further ado: here are Pixel & Cera!

Pixel is the black & white kitty. And by his moustache you can tell he's a male, right? (for his name, we got a bit inspired by Danique's Pixel)

Cera is this pretty lady. We named her after Cera from The Land Before Time (Platvoet & zijn vriendjes) because she's as stubborn, yet cute as she is :-)

*yawn* "OK, now we gotta get some sleep."

Hope you enjoyed this cuteness overload :-) Talk to you soon!
Hi everyone!
I still owe you the conclusion of what Me Made May meant to me. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of my outfits, but I did make 3 new/old items this month! Curious?

I refashioned a long black skirt with a gorgeous pattern and made it into a box top. I used this tutorial. It's pretty simple, I just made a few alterations. Other measurements, stuff like that.

I also finally used the lace I ordered quite a while ago. Nothing fancy, I just attached a chain to it and ta-dah, new necklace is born!

When this tutorial appeared on Jessi's blog, I immediately felt the urge to try it as well. Et voilà, another fun accessory to add to my collection!

Thank you Me Made May, for making my May a bit more fun and exciting!

Have a nice weekend, enjoy the sun and talk to you soon!

Next Wednesday I'll be back with my photos of the second week of the photo challenge :)

Have a great day, talk to you soon!
Hi everyone!

How was your week? My lessons for this semester are over! Yay! This week I had to study like a maniac because exams are coming up. This Thursday I'm fighting with my exam in Economics. I really hope I make it. At least I discovered now that Economics is absolutely not my cup of tea. (Memorizing data and definitions, no thanks!)

On to the fun part: snail mail from the past week! :)

from Marlou:
Marlou sent me amazing owl themed mail, as she usually does. She also included fun flags to brighten up the bf's apartment. They do match the walls perfectly!

from Saar:
Mail from Saar is always a pleasure to read. Her new stationary is really pretty. Too bad I forgot to snap a proper picture.

from Aya:
This week the mailman surprised me with this super awesome big package, all the way from Japan. I participated in the Fumi no hi project Aya hosted on her blog, and totally forgot about it but she sent a few of her readers a really fun stationary package. Soooo many amazing goodies were in it. Cute post-its, washi tape, a looot of letter sheets and envelopes and some other cool stuff! Thank you so much, Aya! :)

I also bought some more postcards while I was in Berlin a few weeks ago. Simply can't resist them. Especially if they have owls on them ;-)

Have a great day! See you soon!
