It's October, that means time for another challenge! I've always wanted to be good at drawing, so what better excuse to be able to experiment than a challenge? Hi! How was your weekend?

Mine was reaaaaally chill. Just relaxing in a slouchy sweater, loose pants, watching some of my favorite series, cuddling with the boyfriend, and studying for school. Still haven't gotten around to writing back to some of my penpals though.. I guess that's why they call it snail mail.

I experimented with my own photographs and drawing on top of them though. Here's my first drawing. What do you think? I'm not quite sure, but I do like the result.

I made my own stationary! It's supposed to look like a 'fluffy owl', but it turned out rather... Well I don't really know what it looks like. What do you think?







P.S. I'm so sorry about the awful quality of these photographs, don't know what happened with my camera/retouching skills but I'll try to fix it asap!

P.S.2: Do any of you guys have tips (& tricks) for 'upgrading' the quality of my stationary? I draw the owls with my Wacom tablet, but they seem so pixelated.. I'm looking for some experts here :)

Uh-oh. If all goes well, I'm doing my last exam at this very moment.. So after that, prepare for a looooot of posts, because I've been feeling super inspired lately!
For now I'll show you what I've been doing during the exams as a manner of letting off steam.



I've had a Wreck this journal for over two years now, but it's only lately that I'm really wrecking it. Here are some of my - so far - favorite pages.

ik hang in frennen vaneen. mijn hoofd zweeft op dit moment reeds ergens anders, ergens in hogere sferen, verscheurd tussen twee keuzes. tussen de soep en de patatten door rep ik me van jet naar jaar, werk ik nog vierenzeventig papers af en prop ik achthonderdendrie miljoen Spaanse woordjes in mijn hoofd.
bij wijze van tijdverdrijf trek ik wat fotootjes met het kanon, ga ik posters plakken voor hét feestje van het jaar (en als ge het gemist hebt, niet getreurd, volgend jaar een nieuwe editie!), deel ik duuzend flyers uit aan de jeugd en ben ik meerdere malen per week 24u of langer aan één stuk door wakker. en weldra is dat vakantie, zegt men dan.

zo'n verlengd weekend kan nog wel eens handig zijn. bijvoorbeeld om te studeren, maar in mijn geval iets minder gezien ik afgeleid werd door mijn bamboo.
