Hi there! Welcome to Bij gebrek aan beter, my personal blog.
My name is Elisse. Nice to meet you! I'm 22 years old and live near Antwerp, in the teeny tiny Belgium. I study Journalism at University and hope to be graduated by 2025 ( ;-) ).
On this blog I share what interests me. I'm quite the owl freak, so you can expect lots of posts on that matter. I'm also best friends with Josefien, my sewing machine. (Although we fight sometimes.) I spend a lot of time with my camera, a Canon EOS 1000D. This year I'm trying to complete a 365-days project. You can read all about it here.
Crafting is my middle name - although tinkering or pottering is a more accurate way of describing it. Upcycling and recycling (mostly clothing) are things that I like in particular. I love writing letters with penpals from all over the world.
I've been together with my boyfriend J. for over 8 years now. He's still not sick of me - yay! I live at home with my parents & sister, but hope to move in with the boyfriend this year.
